Nairative writing-Fractured fairytale

My Reflection
I have been learning to write a fractured fairy tale.using What I have learned about narrative structures and features.My fractured fairy tale was based on Little Red Riding Hood. I am most proud of my fractured fairy tale.

My next step is to make sure I sequence the story in the right order.

We have been learning to identify and use different features in the text.We read a story about Horses.I used the contents page and index to find information about horses. My next step is to read more non-fiction books and use the contents page and index to find information.

 WALT use place value to solve larger Multiplication problems.  I found this easy because I 42x8=336 40x8=320 2x8=16 16+320=336. My next step is to do trickier ones.

I found this picture tricky because I have write it in my book then copy it from my book about my character.I used 5 senses to write 5 different sentences about my character

Comparing Fairy Tales

My Reflection

I have been learning to identify common themes in fairy and fractured tales.We read two narratives called``Red Riding`` and ``Into the forest``.A common theme I made from these stories was in the forest.

I found this easy because i have to copy from my book.

I have been learning to use place  value partitionning to solve subtraction problems.I found this easy because I now my units.  My next step is to learn new strategies.

Find and Summarise Information in Non-fiction Texts.

My Reflection
I have been learning to skim and scan non-fiction texts to find and summarise information .We read a story about white Tailed Spiders.We had find facts from the text and summarise them.

I found this easy because it`s easy think of a bad name and write 5 fats.Facts are true or false  My next step is to keep working on this skill.

We have been learning about celebrations.There are different types of celebrations.We had to talk about these celebrations and decide what type of celebration they were.I found  this tricky because I didn;t know what some of the celebrations were.

We have been learning to compare and contrast different celebrations.  My group researched information about Eid. Something I found interesting was photos.Next we worked with another group and used a Venn diagram to compare our celebrations.Things that were the same were family.My next step is to put more detail and information in the Venn diagram.
